Who's Got Your Stuff Lost in Montana?

The Montana Department of Revenue is providing us with some pretty interesting information – there’s over $90 million worth of hidden treasures in the state.

Spokeswoman Mary Ann Dunwell says the numbers for outstanding unclaimed items for this year alone sits at over $10 million and state officials are trying to raise awareness so folks can get what's theirs.

She says while common items include property, cash, claims and securities there have been some unusual finds in past years as well.

"One time we got almost $500,000 worth of gold Canadian coins and another time we had a safe deposit box with gold nuggets in it,” she said.
