A Camp To Remember Benefit -- WHITEFISH -- January 29th

Enjoy an evening of fantastic food and entertainment with live & silent auctions. Proceeds from the event supports A Camp To Remember and those grieving the loss of someone special in their life.

This gala event featuring the work of prominent Montana artists, benefits the non-profit’s grief programs including “A Camp to Remember,” a summer grief camp for children on the shores of Flathead Lake, as well as expanding programs in the Flathead Valley and western Montana.Tamarack Grief Resource Center (TGRC) strengthens and honors children, teens, adults and families throughout their journey with grief. TGRC is dedicated to providing emotional and educational support. 

Through the generosity of local artists Ginny Ogle, Jeffrey Funk, John Rawlings, Susan Guthrie, Dave Smith, Matt Springer, Mark King, Dawn Duane, and visiting artist/scholar Karl Leonard, original artworks are created on paddles which are auctioned off at the event. Tamarack Grief Resource Center’s flagship camp program, “A Camp to Remember,” has been held every summer for the past 15 years, serving children and families that have lost a loved one. The camps mix the joy of summer camp including swimming, arts and crafts, and active games with opportunities for remembering and honoring loved ones. Camps include our overnight youth camp at Flathead Lake, Day Camps in area parks, plus a Teen Camp, Women’s Rendezvous, Men’s River Retreat and Family Camp. Additional TGRC programs include grief consultations and counseling, support groups, community workshops and professional seminars.
