The annual Christmas Stroll on the Friday after Thanksgiving officially kicks off the Christmas season for Lewistown. Santa comes riding into town in the Parade of Lights. There are bonfires in the street, live entertainment and delicious local foods. Stores stay open late and many offer special coupons and discounts and there is a drawing for the valuable "Chamber Bucks". This fun, festive evening marks the start of many other Christmas activities to be enjoyed during December.
