Farm Fair -- BOZEMAN -- May 5th - 7th

May 05th

What's not to love about squealing kids and squealing pigs? The seventh annual Farm Fair began today with cows, sheep, horses, ice cream making and a farm full of kids.

That means nearly 900 fourth grade students will attend the three-day event that provides hands-on lessons about agriculture production, economics, soil science, animal science, environmental management and more.

Ice cream making seemed to be the most popular station and cow milking seemed to be the second most popular.

Some of the other stations included sheep, hogs, weed idenfication, the water cycle and goats. Wagon rides are also provided to learn more about conservation, crop rotation and irrigation.
