A popular event for over 27 years, the 4-day Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering and Western Music Rendezvous, established to “to preserve and celebrate the history, heritage and values of the American cowboy in the upper Rocky Mountain west”, is the second oldest cowboy poetry gathering in the USA. Focussing on the oral history of the American cowboy, highlights of the event include presentations of cowboy poetry and western music lyrics as well as the Western Art & Gear Show featuring artists of all types and their western wares.
