Montana Shakespeare in the Parks (MSIP) opened its first season in the summer of 1973. The goal was to bring Shakespeare directly to the people of Montana. Since that time Montana Shakespeare in the Parks has performed over 2,250 times around the state of Montana. The 2015 season will open with Shakespeare's comedy The Taming of the Shrew. Directed by Artistic Director, Kevin Asselin, this Shrew will be set in the Wyoming Territory of the 1880's. For the first time in over 20 years, MSIP presents Cyrano de Bergerac. In love with the beautiful Roxane but afraid to tell her, Cyrano hides his feelings. When he finally admits it, is it too late? Directed by Si Osborne, Cyrano is not to be missed.
