The second annual TEDxUMontana will feature some of the best minds, most innovative ideas and engaging speakers from the University of Montana and the region. This year we will focus on the theme of language. Language shapes our conscious thought and creative expression; it is a declaration of identity and is unique to professional discourse. It can be lost, invented or revitalized. It is a flexible medium that adapts and changes through use.
TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxUMontana, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxUMontana event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
