This is reported to be the home of Territorial Governor Sidney Edgerton and family.  The printed caption on the verso reads, "FIRST GOVERNOR'S RESIDENCE. This picture was taken in March 1908. The three men standing in front of the building, are Bannack Pioneers. The gun held by the man on the right belonged to the notorious Plumer [Henry Plummer], Sheriff and 'Road Agent."
