The State Fair Race Meet offers 4 days of Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse and other breed horse racing. Located on a half-mile track, the first weekend of racing is days before the State Fair opens. On the second weekend of racing, the State Fair is also operating, so horse racing patrons may also take in the festivities offered by one of Montana's largest fairs.
