A winter Biathlon is the sport of skiing and shooting. It all happens in a small area. thus making it perfect for spectators. Competitors ski a loop, lie down (with their skis on) and shoot five shots at the target, ski a loop, stand up and shoot, ski a loop to the finish. The targets are regulation biathlon targets, and when the doors close, everyone can see the misses and hits.
