VIDEO: Road-tripping Huskies Howl Along With the Music

Picking out the music can be tricky politics on road trips.  Sure, the driver's doing most of the work, so maybe they oughta be the one to pick.  But sometimes the passenger brought the snacks, or is coming along to do a favor, or is man's best friend. And sometimes, the passenger will sing, which can either be a source of distress or delight depending on how well they sing.

But I think we can all agree that these very good boys are great singers and that their combined harmony only enhances the tune playing over the radio.  Sure, it's a little wailing, but if you added a really solid bass, I think you could have something here.

Wolves and dogs will howl when they hear certain frequencies out of instinct.  With dogs, it is more of a holdover from their wild past, but wolves will communicate across great distances using their howl.  Some dogs still have the instinctual response, however, and will signal that they've heard the other "howl" or that they are willing to join in, by letting fly with a howl of their own.  These beautiful pups are playfully telling the harmonica that they're willing to join in.  Well, either that or they really do just like to sing.  We're no animal biologists.
