Lewistown kicks off the holidays the weekend after Thanksgiving with two days of shopping, fire pits and s'mores, a community tree lighting, caroling, the Santa Shuffle fun run, a Christmas book sale and visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
The Christmas parade rolls down Main Street Friday at 5:30 p.m., and many floats carry on to Bright Country Nights at the fairgrounds (Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 5 p.m.).
