Carl Safina

Carl Safina is the author of seven books and founderdirector of the nonprofit SafinaCenter.org; it blends science, art, and literature in order to inspire a deeper connection with nature, especially the sea. Recognized with MacArthur, Pew, and Guggenheim Fellowships, he also hosted the PBS 10-part series “Saving the Oceans with Carl Safina.
