Nope not even close. Argued for years that I do not have an accent, finally gave up when I started see things like this. We do speak differently than other parts of the country!

When I moved away from Montana everyone asked where I was from and that I had an accent.

I never though I had an accent until I moved to the south. When asked where I was from & I say Montana they always say that is where my accent is from, who knew. Still a Montanan at heart

Years ago I had to take a trip to Tennessee for work. After settling in to my hotel, I wanted dinner and noticed a Cracker Barrel on the opposite corner. Loving Southern food, I settled at a table and proceeded to order Blacked Catfish, collards, and hush puppies. After taking my order, the waitress appeared puzzled. She spoke up. "You mind if I ask y'all a question?" What's that accent? Y'all aint from around heah!"

For some reason, I say "warsh" for wash. My mom and dad said it, my grandparents said it.
I am from the highline area of Montana, born and raised.
My kids and friends think it is funny.
