The Western Montana Fair is Missoula's long-running county fair, held in August at the Missoula County Fairgrounds. It's split into two parts, with motorsports and car shows on the first weekend and rodeo, livestock and 4-H events later in the week. Admission to the grounds is free, with tickets for the arena shows.
